RCMP Presentation: Fraud Awareness Seminar In-Person
This seminar seeks to inform attendees about the various methods used by scammers as they attempt to get your personal information and banking details. The presentation will include common things to look for when receiving communication from an unknown sender, or one that appears legitimate and how to scrutinize the message. Some real-world examples of different types of messaging will be discussed along with other scams such as door-to-door sales, and romance scams. You will have the opportunity to ask questions during the event.
