Join us for this special author presentation to celebrate Canadian Children's Book Week!
Meet Tasha Hilderman, bestselling author of the book Métis Like Me.

Tasha will share the story of her debut picture book, Métis Like Me (Kirkus Star, SLJ Star, an Indigo Book of the Year), plus a special sneak peek at her new not-even-out-yet book, Lights at Night. She will entertain students with an "underneath the (book) covers" look at the process of making a picture book, how an author and an illustrator each tell half of the story, and how long it takes for a book to be made (so long!). Participants will then become Tasha’s illustrator for an activity.
