• Please note that this program will be held in-person at Hamburger Hill/Central Park, though we will meet at the Spruce Grove Public Library.
• Please register as soon as possible because space is limited.
• Weather permitting, we will stay at the library for indoor fun as an alternate option.
• Children will need sun protection (e.g. sunscreen and a sunhat) and a water bottle.

WAIVER

The Teen Summer Reading Club: Summer Water Games program will be taking place on Friday August 2 from 3-4pm. This program will be off-site from the Spruce Grove Public Library.

As a parent/guardian of a child(s) registered in a SGPL program, I agree that:      

• I will drop off and pick up my child at the designated location and time;  
• I will provide written authorization when it becomes necessary for my child to be picked up by an alternate; and  
• I will pick up my child if staff determines that his/her behaviour has become detrimental to the program.      

I hereby release the Spruce Grove Public Library, the director, employees, volunteers, contractors, representatives from all responsibility for any death, injury, loss or damage of any kind, including but not exclusive to:      

• Allergic reaction to food, plants, chemical, and animal life.  
• Medical problems arising before, during or after participation in the event or program;  
• All manner of muscular injuries, bruises, scrapes, cuts, sprains, dislocations, broken bones, and head, facial, or dental injuries, sun or wind burns, which might result from participating in an event or program, and all related activities such as crafts and outdoor games.  
• Injuries or death resulting from travel by public or private motor vehicle to and from the locations of activities; or  
• Heat stroke, sunstroke, or hypothermia which may result from extreme changes in weather or temperatures suffered by my child while participating in Spruce Grove Public Library programs, unless such injury, loss or damage is the result of negligence by the Spruce Grove Public Library.
